LY50 Dual Power Supply Distribution Box

Product Overview丨
The dual power supply distribution box is an electrical device equipped with two independent power inputs, designed to automatically switch to the backup power source when the main power supply fails. Its primary function is to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical loads, such as fire protection systems, medical equipment, and emergency lighting.
It is widely used in buildings, industrial facilities, and medical institutions, where high power supply reliability is essential.
Key Features:
Dual Power Inputs:
Typically includes a main power supply (e.g., municipal grid) and a backup power supply (e.g., diesel generator or secondary grid). These two power sources are completely independent, preventing power outages caused by failure of a single source.
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS):
The core component of the system is the automatic transfer switch, which monitors the status of the main power supply.
If the main supply experiences power failure, overvoltage, undervoltage, or phase loss, the ATS automatically or manually switches the load to the backup supply.
Once the main power is restored, the system automatically switches back (depending on the model, modes like ""main power priority"" or ""no priority"" can be configured).
Output Circuits:
Internally, the box distributes power to downstream loads through circuit breakers, isolating switches, and other protection devices, ensuring safe and reliable power distribution.
Mandatory Use for Safety-Critical Loads:
For life-safety loads such as firefighting systems, the use of a dual power distribution box is mandatory according to the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings. It is a crucial component of electrical safety in building infrastructure.
