GGJ Low Voltage Reactive Power Compensation Cabinet

Product Overview丨
GGJ Low Voltage Reactive Power Compensation Cabinet
Overview:
The GGJ low voltage reactive power compensation cabinet is a complete power distribution solution designed to improve power factor and enhance power quality in low-voltage distribution systems. It plays a vital role in energy efficiency and the stable operation of power systems. The compensation cabinet can be assembled using standard enclosures such as MNS, GCS, or GGD, integrating capacitor compensation components accordingly.
GGJ cabinets are commonly offered in two configuration schemes:
Configuration 1: Conventional Compensation System
This scheme includes:
Contactor or thyristor switching devices
Reactors and capacitor banks
Reactive power controller
The controller continuously monitors grid parameters in real-time (e.g., power factor, voltage, current, harmonics), and based on the pre-set compensation target (e.g., power factor ≥ 0.95), it automatically sends switching commands to control the compensation stages. This ensures on-demand compensation in response to system load changes.
Configuration 2: Intelligent Modular Compensation
This scheme uses:
Modular capacitor units with built-in controllers
Modules may contain pure capacitors, or capacitor + reactor combinations
Integrated switching devices, control circuits, and protection units
These intelligent modules are compact, offer excellent heat dissipation, and communicate with the reactive power controller via telephone-style cables with RJ connectors, enabling efficient data exchange and control. Each module receives control signals, analyzes them, and determines whether to switch in or out, achieving fully automated compensation.
Technical Parameters
Rated Operational Voltage (Ue): AC 380 V
Rated Current (In): 463 A ~ 65 A
Rated Short-Time Withstand Current (Icw): 15 kA
Degree of Protection: IP30
Enclosure Type: Indoor
Frequency: 50 Hz
